My Important Job (Contest Entry!)

Alright, so it's apparently contest season for picture-book writers, and I couldn't pass this one up: Vivian Kirkfield's #50PreciousWords contest is a challenge to write a full story in 50 words or less. The goal is to practice an essential skill of picture-book writing: making every. single. word. count!

Without further ado, here is my entry!
